Because financing the works ends up being the main obstacle to rehabilitation, we offer a calculation methodology that allows us to make a cost-benefit balance of the operation by providing specific values and defining the date on which the investment made is recovered.

  •   Calculation of production and transaction costs linked to the execution and management of the work.
  •   Simulation of benefits generated by the intervention: energy savings and revaluation of heritage due to building improvement and/or change of use.
  •   Cost-benefit ratio and calculation of the project's Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

Quantification of real estate revaluation

We have a calculation methodology capable of quantifying the increase in the selling price of a property due to rehabilitation. This calculation system has been developed as part of the research of the Doctoral Thesis of Daniel Serrano, the founder and director of the RODAL study.

Thermodynamic simulations

It is a technique used to predict the energy and thermal behavior of a building, using mathematical models and climate data to analyze how heat is distributed within the building and how its components interact with the environment. This tool allows optimizing the design and operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and, in addition, helps improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort, reducing the environmental impact of the building.

Calculation of the ecological footprint of the building

We measure the environmental impact generated by the construction, operation and maintenance of an architectural project. This calculation includes the amount of natural resources used and waste generated and evaluates aspects such as energy consumption, water, construction materials and greenhouse gas emissions. Its objective is to promote sustainable practices and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
