Housing rehabilitation projects
The reduction of the ecological impact of housing
We are aware that reducing the ecological impact of housing in our territory involves
rehabilitation, because we have an aging park that was built without taking into account criteria
of energy efficiency.
Improving energy efficiency
At RODAL we do not carry out any renovation project that does not involve a quantifiable improvement in energy efficiency, as we consider it to be the most sustainable way to reduce the ecological footprint of the building, which is 38% of total global emissions, according to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). To calculate the improvement we use thermodynamic simulation systems that allow us to compare energy consumption before and after the renovation.
Asbestos removal management
Asbestos is a carcinogenic material that, unfortunately, is present in a large part of the residential buildings in our area. This situation causes it to appear during many of the rehabilitation projects of buildings built between the 50s and 70s and for this reason we are trained to manage the particularities of its removal process.
Accessibility guarantee
Accessibility is a basic right that must be guaranteed in housing and that is why our rehabilitation projects make up for the shortcomings that old buildings may have, whether through new elevators, adaptation of stairs or use of auxiliary elements integrated into the building.
Support and management service
Because the financing of the works can be an impediment to rehabilitation, at RODAL we offer a support and management service for the grants available for each building that we intend to rehabilitate, whether they are direct subsidies for energy rehabilitation, accessibility, or asbestos removal, working in a coordinated manner with the building administrator and the property.
- Search and assistance in the management of subsidies for rehabilitation
- Support in the search for favorable financing
- Building condition audits
- Single-family home renovation projects
- Multi-family housing rehabilitation projects
- Energy saving calculations (thermodynamic simulations)
- Asset revaluation simulations
- Cost-Benefit Analysis Studies of Comprehensive Rehabilitations
